The local flora is also fascinating. The plant life is as diverse as it is beautiful, from the ancient olive trees that serve as living monuments to centuries of history to the delicate orchids that adorn the woodland floor. Numerous rare plant species have evolved as a result of the park’s distinctive fusion of Mediterranean and Aegean influences, resulting in an exquisite and interesting botanical tapestry.
