Pamukkale Travertines

Afterwards, you will pass to the calcium-containing water terraces, which have become the symbol of Pamukkale and consist of warm waters. The temperature of the water is 35 degrees. From here you can watch the shimmering white travertines of Pamukkale. This natural beauty was formed when the water flowing from the hot springs left limestone deposits. It was named Cotton Castle (Turkish: Pamukkale) because the steps formed on the plateau due to the loss of carbon dioxide resemble a mountain made of cotton.

Traditional Turkish Lunch

Enjoy a great, traditional meal in a nearby restaurant while savoring the flavors of Turkey. Lunch will be served as an open buffet. It’s a wonderful chance to savor genuine Turkish cuisine.

Cleopatra Pool

After lunch, you will have the opportunity to swim in the hot red thermal pools. For a small extra fee, you can swim in the Cleopatra Pool, where it is believed that Cleopatra used to swim here. The inside of this pool, which is heated by natural hot springs, is covered with ancient ruins. Don’t miss this opportunity to swim in history!
